Thanks for the detailed feedback, I contacted DL and they are sending me samples for testing. I will message you, we are always open to trade work to help other small businesses.
Thanks!
I will give it a try, we've tried it years ago but it was crappy and the sales rep had to get us samples like four different times because at the time it was being made overseas (probably still is) and the coating had changed like 3-4 times because they were having so many problems. It seems...
just wanted to update for anyone who finds this and has the same issue, the cleaning of hte surface before pressing did not solve my problem. I will keep testing things, when I solve it I will post it so others may be able to use the information.
Hello All -
First off, thank you for any help you can provide, it's greatly appreciated as this is tough stuff to figure out sometimes!
We've been printing and pressing Chromaluxe metal prints for around 12 years now, we use Epson printers with Epson ink and paper called S-Race and have a Sefa...
Has anyone used CMYKEngineering for third party ink, purchased a machine from them (printer), and how has it gone?
I'm currently running multiple CET printers but the support is lacking, wondering if they would be able to handle the support (for example - the belt keeps walking on the printer...
What network infrastructure are you using to get 10gigabit LAN? We use Unifi at our shop but most of the network transfer is still very slow even though they advertise 10gigabit LAN capabilites, mainly because our computer network cards don't support that speed...
I hope so, we will see. I suspect that we are also processing files at different screening/resolutions than what you run your Colorado at. I will report back the speed changes of the NEW RIP and ripping it locally (to a SSD on the same PC vs. across the network).
Wow, yes I have 12 RIPs distributed across several workstations and printers, each of our CET printers have two RIPs. With our current i9 NUC PCs we use for RIPPING (also going across our network) the 6x50 banner we ripped last week took a little over an hour, and we printed 5 different 10x20...
Hello All,
As I had mentioned in my OP, I am working with a person to build a custom PC for our needs (we will build 1 first and test to see if it works. If it does, I will build a second PC). As mentioned in the OP I want to use the PC to control a Handtop/CEzt/Fluid Color Hybrid printer with...
We will be using the PC to run a RIP (Onyx Thrive) along with the CET controller software. This will allow us to RIP files faster. In our experience the RIP and processing files actually take up significant resources. For example we printed 48 banners this week on the two printers that were 50...
I like windows 11 better than 10, but unfortunately I have been told the controller software for the CET printers doesn't work yet with Windows 11...
My network/it company doesn't want Windows 7 PCs on the network as they don't have some security stuff I am told makes us vulnerable.
Hi Netsol -
Not sure I understand your post, can you help me out a little bit?
1) What would it mean if they were 'making use of hyperv support'? I did a quick google and it looks like that came with Windows v 8 as the first/initial version Windows version with support, if that is the case...
Digitech makes a great machine and we looked at it for rigid, but these are hybrids and print mainly roll to roll. Also, we print mainly fine art canvas and found that our art broker customers are very picky, without lclm they were unhappy with the printer quality (even with the smaller...
