We're running two Mimaki DTF printers and Cadlink has been great.
We demo'd printfactory and it looks like it actually might be better but we haven't had time to fine tune it so we're likely sticking with cadlink
I’m not sure if you’re interested but I think we have some RJ parts including a new main board that we’d sell for cheap. If interested please message me and I can send a pic.
we used to attach razor knifes to the printer to trim as we printed. This doesn’t always work well though as the media may curl. Most people trying to do this do it on a laminator after the media has out gassed / dried for a while.
Have you checked out Antigro designer? We use their software to sell DTF gang sheets and it works really well. They recently released their sticker builder software and we're planning on trying it once our DTF systems are a bit more stable. They just take a % of your sales and you need to...
The amazon cheapie usb readers work very well too. Just make sure to get a dual sided. The QB version works fine as well. We had their chip reader a while back and it was terrible but I think the new version is better.
it’s just a up printer. They have was paper or something laid down under the panels so they can print full bleed.
I think geo knight or one of those companies has a specialized press to print on balls with heat transfers. We’ve done it on our reg heat presses but it’s more for giveaways and...
We have TXF 300s, cadlink and an x-rite as well. We made some profiles in a demo of Printfactory and it worked pretty well but we just haven't had time to keep up and actually use them so we're back to digital factory. Printfactory did seem to have a little wider gamut but the workflow was a...
We've used General Formulations floor graphic laminate for this several times before. Some of them are anti-slip but still have a nice smooth finish.
There are also laminates made for motocross etc that are in the 6-9mil range from Substance, GF and others that work well too.
We have Mimaki's on Bordeaux and a 60600 on factory ink. The factory ink costs more but the Epson is so much easier to use it's worth it. Our Mimaki is great as well but ink cost on the Epson definitely hasn't been the issue we thought it would be.
Btw, pricing seems to really vary on the...
I'm going to try this coro trick. We're fine mounting to PVC, coro, foam core etc but we have one client we do a lot of solvent printing on optically clear (2mil thick) film and then apply it to 1/8" acrylic for and for the life of us it never works in the laminator. We wet apply it after a...
usually once you need a new print head there is no other way to fix it but what's the problem? Generally unless you're getting a ton of bad deflections you can soak or gently flush sublimation heads to fix a lot of problems. But if you've already gone through that then yes, you may be stuck...
hi, are you using the newer firmware and inputting the damper replacement in service mode when you put in a new damper?
Once we updated our firmware this problem decreased to almost a non issue
There is one other setting you can adjust too. Email me at hybriddesignhi@gmail.com i can send you...
