So I have it looking pretty good at this point. My only thing now is the little bits seem so have darker edge which I’m guessing is from the ink settling to the outer edges.

So I’m trying to recreate a old car graphic and need to print a black design on some scotchcal 3m marking film. My first run went pretty good except I have some black banding which I haven’t got before, printing on white vinyl. Any suggestions?

I will try the head soak and see if it changes at all. Otherwise I will change the head. I had one head changed out earlier last year but that was because it just stopped working. I’m still pretty new to this stuff so not aware of what different test patterns mean. Thank you for your replies...
This print head has been kinda week since we got the machine. Now this is where it is at. I have tried cleanings and a head soak ( maybe 20mins). Is this just at the point of needing to be replaced?

Well if I do a mark test from the plotter it works just fine and reads all 4 marks, but then if I try the exact same print, it see the one side of the registration mark and spits out about 6 inches of material and stops. Then asking if I want to retry. Will do it every time.
