What would be the issue?

I created an exception for Versaworks in my firewall. Update: I am now connecting my ethernet cable straight from my PC to the printer and printed a job at 6ft length with no issues, so will monitor and reply back. Hopefully that's solved it!

The only thing is that Flexsign Rip works perfectly. I do like Versaworks but am thinking of just concentrating on the FlexiRip as I'm tired of wasting $ on material and ink when it quits halfway.

Did that fix your problem? I have the same thing happening on my VG640 with Versaworks 6.23

spoke too soon, freaking quit halfway again. I know its versaworks because flexi rips and prints perfectly. geeeeeeeez

I believe the problem was what Jim Hancock said. Deleting all prior job in the Versaworks 'Jobs Log' seems to have worked!

Deleted the job files all the way back from 2012! I'll update you on my next print.

UPDATE: I believe the problem lies in Versaworks v6.18 I forgot I had a RIP program in Flexi and printed perfectly. Im now downloading the updates for Versaworks as it prompted me to do so although it is taking forever? (3,170mb)

My Roland VG640 just stops printing in the middle of a print with it saying "NOW PROCESSING" and busy blue light blinking. Versaworks has a red prompt in the status bar. I wait and does nothing. This has happened on several jobs now. There is ink in the pouches although Lt cyan is low there is...

Are there o-rings between the damper and the printhead on a Truevis? Have it apart and don't see any o-rings? Having possible air issues on Lt Magenta but Lt Cyan is working perfectly. If I do a powerful clean Lt magenta comes back for a day and then get staggered loss on test print, telling me...

My yellow cartridge does the same on Roland VG640. I have to power down and unplug for 30 seconds and then shows detected. Not sure what the problem is but it's a fix for now.
