  1. Has anyone used Kalisign?

Compared to some other vendors we have used, Kali's pricing is around 40% less. I was curious as to if others have used them and what they thought of the end product. What's wrong with asking others where they have had good experiences? I've been in the industry for quite a while, but...
  2. Has anyone used Kalisign?

We have used a few other vendors over the years, but was curious as to if anyone had used Kalisign or heard any reviews of them. Their price is around half what we have paid in the past, but don't feel like getting burned by the old "you get what you pay for". If you have had good experiences...
  3. Disabling Epson S60600 Auto Cleaning

i see the printer cleaning itself as cheap insurance. I'd rather have $0.27 of ink used to prevent down time.
  4. Disabling Epson S60600 Auto Cleaning

I don't do it either. But, if someone else wants a shortcut to an early demise of their equipment, that's on them.
  5. Disabling Epson S60600 Auto Cleaning

The easiest way to keep it from cleaning itself is to keep a cartridge around with too little ink for it to clean itself. Then send the job, pause it, and install the fuller cartridge.
  6. s40600 nozzle problem

I would say your damper or pump/cap assembly took a dump. Hopefully that's all. If you do a nozzle cleaning, do any other nozzles come back? How many feet have you printed on the s40
  7. Troubleshooting Head Issue SC60600

Sounds like a damper issue. Smaller prints are fine, larger prints have banding issues.
  8. Epson s40600 issue

hit the pause button, then once the print has paused, hit maintenance, and it will give the option for cleaning
  9. Light banding?

There is no cleaning fluid reservoir on the 40600 to the best of my knowledge. I know there isn't one on the 60600. The cleaning cycles use your ink to clean the heads. Also, only use the heavy cleaning cycle if truly needed, and even then, before printing anything, run a light cleaning...
  10. Epson S40600 Take Up Issue

The take up reel sensor got messed up in one of our old S30670's. It used 2 hall effect sensors. The trigger bar had become bent. If you undo the bolt on the capping station end of the take-up-reel mount, you can then slide the unit off. there are a handful of screws and internal plastic...
  11. Cleaning solution

Depending on which model you have: The maintenance parts nearing end of life requires the kit containing 2 new filters a wiping cartridge, and a new flushing pad. The cleaning cycles use ink to clean the heads. A head maintenance can either be auto or manual. The cleaning fluid is only...
  12. Onyx print color difference question

    That's where my mind went
  13. Need Help Phototex Opas profile

I have used 2 varieties of Phototex, Neenah Digiscape, and a handful of other wall covering type medias. I've always used my corrected matte vinyl media profile, as the ink isn't as heavy as my gloss media profile.
  14. Lowering head speed on SC30600

Try printing uni-directional. You can also add time between passes. From 0.0 to 10 seconds
