Thanks for the reply. I have cleaned the encoder strip recently. The cut is off about the same all the way across. I will try the service menu if I can get into it. thanks

Hi, My SP300 prints great but the contour cut is off by about a 16th of an inch, not a problem on large graphics but small stuff it really stands out. I adjusted manually using the test pattern in the print-cut adjust menu but it made no change. Then under cutting adjust in the calibration...

Got it set up now, had to make my own test print for the alignment. The M/Y head was off both horizontal and vertically, perfect now. Getting to those tiny screws on the head is a pain but I'm good at it now.

Captops are new, missing ink is now flowing, only yellow seems to have a tough of magenta in it but I think it will clean out. I will try the horizontal adjust thanks. Thanks for the 'code' I will try that one.

Thanks for all the advise, after trying everything I finally gave in to the fact that my heads are old and worn out. Just replaced both of them now back to sharp Roland printing.

I have never changed the head height, is that something that can get accidently changed? All this has happened since loosing the black because of a bad damper so I have been in and out of the head area.

Still not good I cleaned the encoder/scale strip and had no change. The image has an overspray of magenta offset to one side about an 1/8 of an inch beyond the image. Any more suggestions?
