We have used Gorilla glue previously on other substrates. It held great, but the foaming action was not cool. But we will try the method of wetting the surfaces before applying..Thanks so much! appreciate it
Thank you very much for your response. We are gluing HDU to HDU for additional thickness. However, we also need open time to spread the adhesive, as well as to clamp it.

Hoping someone can share what bonding glue or other adhesive would work well for gluing up HDU panels. The sign in question is 6'-0" X 4'-0"
And each panel is 2" thick

We are working with HDU. This is a carved sign that has been primed with Styx primer. Can we apply Luco gold size over the primer and expect good adhesion?

Gino, thanks so much for the info. Sounds like you have found the answer to this. We have tried everything to avoid leaving the adhesive residue left from the yellow PASK masking film.

We let the paint dry for at least (2) days, and apply the mask and paint. The problem is the glue residue left on the sign when removing...
We are working on a project using Extira with CNC carved copy. We use Stix primer and finish with Aquacoat ronan paint. Is there any way to avoid tearing out when removing the mask?
