  1. Properly Masking, Storing and Transporting Cut Graphics

We prefer not to apply the masking until the day of the install. We will weed the graphics and either lay then on a table or loosely roll them with the graphics out. On the day of install morning we will mask and roll loosely again. I hope this helps.
  2. How long to wait for newly painted trailer?

Stick up a spot graphic somewhere and test it.
  3. Wall Vinyl recommendation

Use a Cast vinyl and Cast laminate. Unless the wall is ultra smooth or primed correctly Calendered will likely fail. We like to use 3m Ij180cv3 w 8518 or 8520 on most any wall we do.
  4. The bottom of truck sides graphics best vinyl to use

Because we only use 3M. I would print this on 3M Ij175cv3/with 3M 8518 gloss laminate, then cut on the Graphtec, mask and install.
  5. Question About Wrapping building Columns

Depends on your wrapper. If I was sending an installer I would build it as one complete panel, then tile it in my rip into 4 even panels with a 1.5 inch overlap. It'll make for an easier install. Then again I'm not the installer, I'm sending someone to install and want to give him all the chance...
  6. FC9000-160 super aggressive at pulling from the feed roll, anyone know how to slow it down?

Sometimes the machines don't like the weight of the roll. So we will make sure there's enough slack that the roll is stressing the cutting knife (that's the operator duty). You can also check that your pich rollers are set correctly.
  7. Graphtec FC 9000 cutting force is getting worse

If I was in your shoes: I'd reset the Grapthec settings to default. (Look it up on Utube, it's pretty easy). Then clean the feed rollers with a clean cloth and alcohol. Make sure your pinch rollers settings are correct (two outside should always be down and those in between should be in the...
  8. Issue with 50/50 perf + laminate

Perf is a one to two year product. Our printers uses a 3 year ink product. Lam? What? Why? If you really feel that you need to lam try using ClearJet Hi Performance Protective Coating. Comes in an aeresol spray can, costs about $12 a can. One can will do a pretty good size window job or more.
  9. My Cut On Decals is Off Graphtec 86-130

Check your pinch roller settings on the back of the cutting bar. Our graphtec has 4. The two outside should be set all the way down and the center ones halfway on a 54" sheet. When our cuts start to wander this is the first thing we check.
  10. HP Latex 365

I have an 8 and a half year old 360 and a brand new 700. I would buy the 360 again if I could. Kind of bummed I bought the 700. I still prefer the 360.
  11. Mounting vinyl onto wood

We buy MDO with one side painted, one side primed. The whole thing comes white, even the edges. Stock item at our sign supply warehouse.
  12. Vinyl Recommendation

70/30 perforated window vinyl. About a 2-3 year product. Advertisement on the outside and gives you full view of outside, looks like tinted windows on the inside. Applies first surface outside. Spray lam or not. 3 year ink on 2 year vinyl? Any solid vinyl will block your view. Hope this helps.
  13. Golf Cart

You might consider a color change with overlays. Unless the printed wrap is a solid or pattern that lies easy, it is hard to get everyhting straight unless your a really good wrapper. Between the time and the reprints its not worth it. We try to get $925 - $1500 for a regular EZGO 2 seater...
