  1. Daige Solo Laminator

its not a bad machine for the price, there are definitely a few design flaws tho. If you laminate without a sled, and your laminate is wider than your media, the laminate will stick to the rear deck of the machine as it feeds out. That gets to be a headache, I ended up taking the rear deck...
  2. how long would you wait?

I recently had to re-install wall graphics at a firehouse, customers stated that the wall had been painted 6 weeks prior, (not entirely sure that was true :noway:) but there was still an odor of paint in the room. Sure enough, the corners started peeling. Waited another 8 weeks before trying a...

Got a job to make a couple hundred round city seals to be applied to car and truck doors. need to be printed on a particular gold confetti, this requires a white base print. Printing on a VS-300i, with white ink. The white ink isn't completely opaque in one pass, but with multiple passes, I...

  6. Roland Versacamm problem, why is this happening?

It looks as if the color channels have a gap in them, you can see the image along the tail fin continues at the first color gap, but just the cyan parts of the image. might want to re-run environment adjustment and all the print head adjustments again and see if anything is off. what does your...

just to cover all bases, are the first two crop marks in line with the cutting strip? if not, then it wont be able to find the marks.
  9. BN-20 cutting WAY off. . .

No, wasnt ignoring you, like I said in my first post, Ive noticed when it mis-reads a crop mark, the entire cut is proportionally skewed. this was more of an abrupt, drastic change. Tech came out and it ended up being a bad pinch roller on the left side. Swapped it out, and its been smooth...

  11. BN-20 cutting WAY off. . .

So I was running off a bunch of reflective FD equipment decals on my BN-20, the first half of the job cut dead on. Then it wen downhill fast from there and I cant figure out why. the pictures below show what im talking about, and ive had it before where it mis-reads a crop mark and the whole cut...

  13. How do I install "Printing to Adobe PDF"?

my bad, gotta read better. there is no option for turning off the pdf virtual printer. check your devices and printers menu. the pdf printer should come up in the list as an actual printer. if not, check your device manager and see if there's no issue with the drivers.
  14. How do I install "Printing to Adobe PDF"?

to my knowledge, I thought that you had to have acrobat pro, not just the reader. that will install the pdf virtual printer.
  15. Big Squeegee

Yea I learned that one the hard way, the liner actually has a grip like action when it comes in contact with the print. spens_cubbie - I know it sounds dificult but what I learned was you need to keep some tension on the laminate thats not down yet. it will take some practice but once you get...
