What inkset are you using. I made some with the AS5 cmyk, light cmk and orange.

I noticed my print and cut jobs on my Mimaki JV100-160 would print at different lengths even when I send the same job twice. One cut job would be on register and then the next way off. I have a similar plotter using the USB to Parallel cable on Flexi and it works fine. Choose the USB port in flexi options. I little trial and error because there so many USB ports listed. But once you find the right one it works fine.

I adjust my laminator so when the rolls are down there is still a small gap between the rollers. I can slide a thin paper between them. Rolls don't even turn unless I have a vinyl and laminate running through them. Seems to cure any of the boat waking or waving.

I use a different printer but sometimes under Color settings, Rendering intent, Pure Hue red when checked makes a nicer red than using a profiled red.

Buy some 30" material to use just for your 30" cutter seems the easiest way.

Used to have similar problem on a Seiko Colorpainter using Onxy 10. I switch out the 20' USB supplied cable with a 6' USB cable and never had the problem again.

Sometimes it's easiest just to rasterize the image Bitmap -> Rasterize. Make the background transparent Bitmap -> Make transparent. Then select Effect -> Contour Cut to make contour outline.

This happened to my 8.6 version, too. Support gave me an option of a $600 upgrade to 12 or a slight discount on their cloud version.

I don't really use the design and print functions anymore, just the vinyl cutting options. So $600 for a vinyl cutting software seems pretty steep to me. Any suggestions on a vinyl cutting program that can read crop marks for print and cut?
