You would be correct. OnyxTalk is a peer to peer support forum I started for Onyx products. I have close ties to Onyx and there are also a number of Onyx employees who keep an eye on the posts there, but it is definitely not an official Onyx forum.
Does this happen on every file or just one in particular?
It's been years since I've had the printer, but I used to get that issue with our ColorSpan 72s from time to time. If I remember correctly I just had to reprocess the file. I could be remembering wrong however so I'll keep thinking...
This doesn't solve your problem, but here is what the error codes and warning document says for E-GN-3:
"The software failed to initialize a subsystem of the printer." In your case it would be related to the image sensor. It says to "request software fix". It may just need the firmware...
It looks like you're referring the Mutoh Toucan LT (Squid), which is a private label printer from Treck Hall. I would imagine the regular Toucan 87 driver should work just fine as the hardware is the same. Give this a try.

Onyx will add extra marks for the Summa every 36 inches, so if your job is shorter than that you will only get the marks in the 4 corners. I would prefer they be every foot, but unfortunately we have no control over that.
Do you have a specific media/printer that you are looking for? I have access to most of the 6.5 drivers as well and would be happy to put up a link for you.
You can create a driver installer for your printer via the 'Printer & Profile Download Manager' though there doesn't seem to be any included media profiles, just the driver.
Here is the PrnInst from it for x10: Roland_SolJet_Pro_II_Series.PrnInst
Did you check the 'Media Type' drop-down and see if there are any additional types that were created when you imported the OML?
The Media Types are kind of like categories, and often times when you download an OML from a manufacturer or elsewhere, they may have it importing into their own...
You cannot add more marks via Onyx. It automatically adds marks with specific spacing based on the length of the print file. As far as I know, to get more marks, you would need to manually add the marks in Illustrator or similar and then cut the file using Summa's WinPlot program.
Here's the latest standalone build of CutServer released with v7.0.3 of the RIP. CutServer hasn't changed really in the latest builds, so this should work just fine for you unless you need a specific device supported that was just added in 7.3.2...
If you go to Configure Printer and then to the Page Sizes tab, what width does it show for your media?
Each printer has a maximum width available for media, and this is probably where you're getting stuck. By adding the cut marks for your Graphtec, it's adding an additional 2" to the width...
Our UV flatbed has completely changed how we do business...for the better. We can't imagine ever going back. Though everything has it's own purpose. We have a 72" solvent that we run all our banners on and an eco-solvent that we run most everything else on.
I'm thinking of setting up a wiki at OnyxTalk, but not sure if I want to. I know that Onyx themselves already have an internal one and heard rumor they are considering going public with it...though that's just rumor.
