We used Shop Vox in the past for Job Management but didn't use the quoting feature - we will most likely switch to this as we also have a clothing department that can utilise the same program.
It is good to know that it speaks with QB that has been needed for us
Unfortunately EstiMate is notoriously hard to get in contact with - its email based on the best of days, and online support is extinct. We will be looking at switching after only using them for years.
Is there anyone out there that is using EstiMate Desktop that has been able to link to Quickbooks Online?
We are switching to QB Online soon, and are wondering if it will link.
TIA!
Unfortunate, for all the GR users that rely on Cut Studio to do their business, they now have to wait a month for the patch ( like myself).
However, we were able to find a workaround it by using Versaworks to send our cut data through :)
So - it seems that the windows update that everyone was told to delete so that Roland's drivers would operate properly no longer exists on my computer. According to Roland, that's the only fix is to delete the update, and they are "staring in August" to work on a solution.

Following - our GR540 is having the exact same issues. I have tried cutting the machine on and off, ensuring our Cut Studio is all up to date, shutting the computer down etc. Only printed items sent from Versa Works with crop marks will be cut - nothing that just has cut lines in the Cut Studio...
We have six user computers that need to use the software - a job board isn't necessary, but it could be a feature we start to use. We employ a physical dry-erase board in the shop so that the production workers can also see the current progress of jobs, but it doesn't get updated as often as it...
The owner of our sign shop took over a couple of years ago and we just adopted the software that the previous owners used: Estimate Desktop Software and Quick Books Desktop.
Putting our feelers out to see if there is something better that we could be using, or if we are in the right ball park!
Somehow, after downloading updaters like crazy yesterday that didn't touch it, an updater was downloaded and used this morning and the program ran like nothing had ever happened...
Roland rep had never heard of the issue before, so they were glad it was solved.
Windows 10, Corel, Versa Works 6 - I cannot recall which version. Running an XR-640 that is about 3 years old. Airconditioned office with humidity temp control gauge.
Another program on the computer caused it to freeze and so it was shut down. When the computer was restarted the dialogue box...
Computer crashed, and now a pop up window tells us the operating environment is not appropriate for versaworks
What do we do? We have several prints that require cutting from Versaworks
* computer has also been restarted after returning from crash*
EDIT * SOLVED *
Somehow, after downloading...
We use Avery products as a standard in our shop, but currently, Avery has been hard if not impossible to come by.
Are there any alternative laminates to Avery 1060 DOL that anyone would/could recommend? - TIA
