  1. Need Help Canon Colorado - White 3 layers.

You can do it with Onyx 24, not the earlier versions.
  2. Excited to Be Here!

Welcome from Detroit, Jacob! Glad to have you here.
  3. seeking tips for selling stickers online

I recommend using a service like PirateShip, ShipStation, GoShippo, etc., that use their volume pricing to give you the cheapest UPS, FedEx, and USPS rates. Until your volume gets quite high, you won't get the discounts directly from the companies that you need. But with PirateShip, for example...
  4. Buying my next printer

This is our experience as well. With 3 Colorados, we can print on any machine and achieve the same color. The profile pantones are really good - not perfect, but as good as I've seen in canned profiles.
  5. Buying my next printer

Yeah, when I told the tech how much ink we go through, he said to ignore his advice, it wouldn't be a problem for us.
  6. Buying my next printer

A tech told me Yes on the ink expiration! A tech told me to wait until the ink is fairly low to replenish it - maybe in the 5-10% range? Otherwise, the printer averages out the expiration dates, so you end up with an earlier date in the printer than what's on the bottle. Maybe MarkSnelling can...
  7. Buying my next printer

Good question. We have 3 of them. They're not always busy, and sometimes one or two of them will go a couple days without much or any use. The main thing is you don't want to let your ink expire. But they don't seem to have any problem sitting for a few days without much or any printing.
  8. Buying my next printer

We don't do a ton of vehicle wraps, but we've done a few on the Colorados. We haven't had any problem. For tiled wall graphics, the Colorados are a dream come true. Our HP 560 was a workhorse, but consistent sizing was always a problem, and sometimes consistent color was too. Also, the Colorado...

  10. UV or Latex for Perforated Window Vinyl

We print perforated vinyl on our Colorados all the time -- but make sure you get perforated vinyl that says it's UV-printable. We print 80/20, 70/30, 60/40, and 50/50 with no problem.
  11. Weird Epson behavior.....

We found that the encoder strip caused a lot of these sorts of issues. It needed cleaned regularly, and we ended up replacing one of them.
  12. What material for floor decals on carpet?

I'd agree with those who are recommending GF 212. It works great for us. What did you end up doing, though?
  13. Alternative to banners in a school gym?

I'm going to go find some ancient threads to resurrect. This is great.
  14. hp315 printing grays as tan

A bad magenta print head will wreak havoc with grays. Our 360 could do great grays, but not with an expired or bad magenta print head. I would replace print heads, do a calibration, and then print. Recalibrate every time you replace the print heads.
  15. Material problem or printer set up issue?

My guess is that it's a backer problem. I'd second the suggestion to check it before you run it and see if the issue is a material issue. Otherwise, it could be that the ink is filling in the holes and sticking to the backer.
