Dont be afraid to ask him what his budget is. if hes says couple hundred bucks say youll do it for that amount. when your done designing, print it on your desktop printer & scotch tape it to his trailer.

Thats pretty cool. good idea doing a few of those and putting it on your desk. But doing something that small for a customer wouldnt be worth the time. i go where the money is at. I actually had a customer wanting a car wrap to find out he had a match box car. LOL

Photoshop, illustrator,pro vehicle outlines & rip software that came with printer is all you need. everything else goes in the garbage especially flexisign & signlab unless you want to take a crash course. Been There,Done that

Just look inside his car before the install. if its dirty as hell then no need to worry about him/her washing the outside. LOL

You dont need to use wet app to install perf. that material is so forgiving. dont create a mess for yourself. as far as laminating if you use opti clear laminating film it will create a blur when looking from the inside out. if you use liquid laminate dont over spray it cause it will clog up...

i used that material before & works good but the oracal 3165 RA works better,its much cheaper and has a longer term life. 3M just came out with a calendered material with air release that is even much cheaper and has the same durability as oracal 3165RA. havent used it yet but cant wait to hear...

Photo-tex works great. liquid laminate it if you have to. just be careful with dark colors like shadows,etc because it prints pretty dark even with the proper icc profiles & you shouls be fine

Dry is king with car wraps etc. !! but If i do large installs with calendered material on windows i spray a little bit of soapy water(drop of babby shampoo in spray bottle) onto the glass after its cleaned and apply it with a rubber squeegee(window tinting squeegee) to get all the water out...

We used dreamscape monet material for a wall mural. it had a 2 year indoor durability which is pretty short but after about 2 years the material was still hanging tuff with no signs of peeling. the disappointing thing about that material is that i shrinks pretty quick so overlaping panels more...
