I did have some similar issues with our 800 and as well as setting the vacuum high I also set the take up roll to "always tension" Seems like the setting to only have tension when the roll advances would allow the media to bunch because of the heat, and cause head strikes.

We had a similar issue with Avery 1105. Turns out what we were shipped wasn't EZRS so not repositionable. I wonder if 3M is mislabeling what they are sending out?

Interesting. What Flatbed's have used with roll to roll? I used to work in a shop that had a couple of Arizona's we would load up with 150' rolls at the end of the night and just let them run out of material. Never had any issues.

We mostly printed 54" on our 800W. Switch to 60" and one roller at the right side of the printer needed to be cleaned with alcohol. Every time.
