Many years ago i remember there being a program where you took a picture of say a storefront with a ruler in the picture and the software would calculate the the dimension of a window or area from the photo . Anyone remember what its called or if its still savailable ?
does any one know if you need special software to run a contex scanner gp67d or can i run it with flexisign or coreldraw if i can get a driver .Its used .
I got the printer and its setup for cmyk +w+silver . DOes any one have an documentation on how to set it 4 color only . Dont need the white or silver only cmyk . Lines are flushed .
I would cool the room for a couple of hours first before running it. Just wanted to make sure the heat does break down the quality of the ink . I figured cold would do more damage than heat .
i just got a used mimaki printer to do add on service for my window tint shop . As far as temperature the printer is in a room its around 80'f . But we usually turn off the air conditioning at night because its an old unit and the land lord just keeps fixing it and doesnt want to replace it ...
Also its fitted with white and silver ink . Whats the best eco ink to use ? I heard some white and silver ink dries really quickly . IS there a good brand to use .Dont mind paying for better quality if it will make the heads last longer .
i am thinking of buying used a mimaki cjv30-100 ( 3 yrs old ) . any user can write about there experience with that model . Has it been reliable? are the heads durable or needs to be changed often ?
Thinking of getting a printer to do autographics for vehicles using a roland sp300i which doesnt print white . I have a question on printing on clear vinyl . If i print on clear and put it on a black vehicle would the color be the same if it was put on a white vehicle Does the background affect...
yes i am very concerned about that . But then again thats why the mark up is so good . I know there is a big learning curve . Arent the newer machine less high maintance than back 5 yrs or so ?
Yes everyone is advising me to do that . But I am a window tinting business just looking to do car graphics and back window perforated vinyl as a add on service . Plus i dont have the space and i already have a graphtec 40" with opos i use to cut window tint. will be doing like the pics below
Say your putting some graphics on a retail store in a plaza and you see no other store has graphics . Do u take the $1K order sign a contract or tell him to check with the landlord on the plaza rules first . MO money or ethical business with no money !
