thewood sent me his Mimaki cleaning procedures. While I've been doing most of what he had listed, there were still a few things I didn't know about. Did the new cleaning procedure today and there were no clogged nozzles! Huzzah!

Ok, I did a 40 minute wash and now 4 more black lines appear on my test print. While it's an improvement, it's not what it should be. I'm going to let it sit on a nozzle wash for 60 minutes to see what happens then. This sucks.

So we're working on a job that uses only Black ink on our JV3-130. Well, I don't know how this happened, but somebody forgot to order more ink for our printer. Our printer says it ran out of Yellow during this print job that is all Black. Is there any way to bypass the Yellow so I don't lose 3...

Good news everybody! We got it to work! We messed around with the masking tape trick and got it to hit spot on. We pretty much did what Marie and insignia recommended and had to play in Postershop for a while. Thanks everyone for the help! :thankyou:

It's banner material that is new to me. The boxes that the banner material is sitting in are labeled Vizuon Bannux 12oz matte.

I tried the masking tape tricks. I came a lot closer, but I can't get a close enough match. Grrr. I'm going to see if we can outsource this. The only problem is that all the material for the job has been ordered and is in our hands. If it were my company I'd send it all back, pay the restocking...
