i got it working over the usb0001... but the weird thing is... if i import AI files and try to print them i get a data error 3.... but if i create the stuff in flexi it seams to work... still not sure what this is about!!! anybody had the same?

just a quick update... i manged to get my edge 2 and hs15 plus both working with usb over wifi with flexisign. thx again for putting me in the right direction!!

can it be some wrong heat setting is used?

got it working... the cable i made is very simple just three pins... tx to tx rx to rx and gnd to gnd the worst problem was finding out i had to disable RTS CTS and DSR inside flexi production manager.... not sure what they for but its working without them...

i found a way... i just had to use a older file format when saving in illustrator this keept all my strokes :D

ok finally got it going... :D after a few hours of playing around i found the problem!!! when u add the hs15 plus HP/GL inside flexi production manager. CTS , RTS and DSR are selected from default, after i deselected them it worked... can anybody explain to my what this is? and why is it...

jup thats how i do it to... did u found a proper way to import ai files with a cutcontour ? i have cut contours (1p strokes) around all my objects in illustrator... (sended them to alot of printshops before) but when importing the file into flexi the cutline is a shape/converted stroke... also...

ok i opened the side panel the screw of the mount for the connector were loose no big deal...im glad the machine is ok! still the cables dont work :§ the cable i bought sends the signal it says press ok after positioning the blad... after i press ok and sing run on the plotter its cuts like...

i made the tests they came out perfect.. i also managed to setup the gerber edge 2... but im still having problems with the hs15 plus... first serial cable i tried , i couldnt find win drivers for the usb adapter... it was from the user before me he had mac... second cable i tried, seemed to be...

ok long story short after, modifing a old cable to look like above... i found out the port on the plotter is kind of loose while i was removing the old cable.... if i try to insert a connector it pushes so far inside on one side ... the pins dont reach the holes on one side... can be the old...

i think i found the solution... inside of the gerber hs15 manual it tells the db25 pin assigments.... after opening the cable up and comparing them with the pin allignment something isnt right at all LOL also i checked on amazon... i could see some reviews where 2! out of 100 said the same...

thanks, i double checked the settings of the comport in the device manager and in flexi... they are identical... same as it says in the hs15 manual.... i also reinstalled the COM PORT driver ... is it normal i cant see the cutter inside the device manager in windows?? here is a pic of what my...

i made the x80 test cut without any problems so it has to be some setting inside flexi or the device manager i think... -.-

i just checked the properties... what is xon is xoff flow controll for ? it was all the same only xon xoff were set to NONE.... should i change it?
