So I have been running the printers now for 5 months at this job using the same profiles as the previous guy did and always thought the output could be better. I have attached a shot of the original and a shot of the print were there is noticeable posterizing I believe. Kind of clumped together...

I cleaned the Tfence/encoder there was a big black mark on it like someone had scribbled on it with a permanent marker (maybe that was the problem?) but i got it off so maybe that will help, havent had the opportunity to run a test yet.

it does go all the way across the banner on that same line. How do you clean the encoder strip? I posted a jpg in the original post or are you talking about the print file?

I dont ever send RGB images because they always are darker when printed.

Seems that whenever there is a saturation of ink I get this ghosting of the text. Seems that when it is being rolled up on the return it is making an indention on the material. Is it the heat set too high? It seems to be cool when it is getting wrapped on the return. Any help would be apprectiated

i've had the same problems with Denco seattle but the seem to be the only one we can get 13oz matte blockout vinyl delivered the next day. Although they continually run out of stock. anyone have any luck with any other suppliers in the seattle/redmond area that deliver the 13oz blockout 38"?

in the digital file it isnt this jagged in those areas

sorry for posting in the wrong area, im still new. i am rasterizing because pdfs take forever to rip on the machine we have the rip software on. It is my understanding that the rip software is rasterizing before printing anyways right?
