  1. Perf cutting on fc8600 and flexi

    Yes.
  2. Paper labels

This is about what its coming too. The materials that have been mentioned are ether way expensive or I can't find them in the US. Or get the customer to change what they want.
  3. Paper labels

I have a customer that is looking paper labels with an adhesive back. I have searched for the material but the only thing that I am finding is photo paper. Has anyone done any of these and if so what material are you using? Maybe once I have the proper name I could search for the product easier...

  6. Sig Line

I'm not a completely new member here but fairly new to this forum and it has a ton of great information and users. My one question as of now. How do you create a signature line? Is this part of the pay to play part or what? Thank you in advance. Kyle
  7. say no to spec

    That was awesome
  8. Printing on FB700, customer is asking for VERY specific accuracy across a 200" print.

I am, was also a machinist. I would pass and say good luck. .002 is almost impossible to hold at that length. Thermal coefficients say it will never work unless you are using some stable stainless or other material like glass.
  9. Copyright question

This is why you need to add a line to all invoices and paperwork that any designs or art work is property of your company unless a written release is granted. This would solve most of the problems people are complaining about on here. As for you current problem decide if losing a customer is...
  10. Yo everybody.......................................

YO yo, is that a cruel joke or just poking fun at me?
  11. Snowmobile/ motorsports wrap/graphics templates question

I do the same. I'm to small to afford a large scanner. The other option if you are doing a lot is FedEx kinkos has one and they charge by the foot. We have more time than money so we scan in on 11x17.
  12. Snowmobile/ motorsports wrap/graphics templates question

You know it. I'm just the grunt. Fix all the problems. Do all the work. She can sit behind the computer all day. Did is say that out loud?:notworthy:
  13. let's pretend...

This is why I hate logo design. Even mine needs to be redone.
  14. Snowmobile/ motorsports wrap/graphics templates question

Been doing this for a couple years already. Mask drawn in the design you want and scan them in. I don't like camera photos they end up distorting the file because of the lens and then you have to scale them. Scanning brings them into scale right off the bat. Have the new Polaris sitting in the...
  15. Graphtec FC8600 Won't register

Sounds like to me you don't have enough registration marks and cutter isn't happy about it. When I make something that big both softwares adds a marks about every two feet or so. The next problem you are going to start having running something that big is drift if you haven't added more pinch...
  16. Graphtec FC8600 Won't register

So you are saying that it never even makes it to the second mark. When I run something that big it does the first mark then cross right to left does the second mark then moves down the print to third mark on the right side. crosses over left to right to the forth mark and so on. That is the...
  17. Graphtec FC8600 Won't register

After skimming the manual the pages you really want to look at 5-18 to 5-26. That what I was messing with when I had problems. Edit: I don't use Flexi I use Onyx postershop and Cutmaster3 for all of my cutting
  18. Graphtec FC8600 Won't register

You may also want to read chapter 5 of the manual. If I recall I changed something in those settings as well but I can't remember what I would have to read again to remember. Here is a link to the manual http://www.delinit.by/user_manual/graphtec/fc8600_manual_en.pdf
  19. Graphtec FC8600 Won't register

Cut things that are 10-15ft long all the time With out a problem. I have had the problem you are talking about but I always just restart everything including the computer and it seems to work. When I setup my cutter I did cut all my speeds for cutting acceleration and deceleration in half. That...
