that sounds great because the line up issue is insane and the reject rate is through the roof and the time spent on loading templates is ridiculous we just purchased this machine back in january so were trying to work out the kinks thanks for the ideas greatly appreciated hope it works!
ok we print tons of phone cases we print a template onto a foam board which is the outline of the phone case we then have to line up each phone case exactly in the lines of that print to get out actual print to line up on the case does anyone know of a faster more efficient way on the setup time...
yeah on my second jv33 i have the float style system but when i got the second one the tech who set it up insisted on the direct bottle feed system. when changing the systems is there anything i would need to do besides putting the carts in and running the lines?
and its not the feed compensation it prints very well until i run it over night when i come in the morning i do an ink fill and a soft clean and the banding is fixed
and the machine is basically brand new not even a year old yet and i run the same ink on my other jv33 they are both ran on bulk ink systems but one with cartridges one without the one without is the one thats giving me problems i dont know if that would change anything either and there is no...
it is definitely ink flow related but i changed the pump capping station and all 8 dampers and ive used the same ink forever now the only thing i can think of is maybe its the batch of ink i got so i asked for a different batch number on this order do you think that would change anything?
does anyone print over night with no one to watch the machine and is there a way to prevent over night banding? we print 24 hours a day 7 days a week and it seems to be a 50 50 chance on banding with my experience. I think it would save more money and product to have someone watch it over night...
i had that problem i had to empty all the ink from my bulk system (just on the colors your having problems with) fill it up with cleaner run a few ink fills through the lines dampers head and capping station after you have done that print solid black item with the cleaner in there just to push...
how would i bypass the switch for the cover i always have it up and i had a peice of metal in there that held the button in so it would think the cover was closed. that isnt working now and i cant get passed the slosed cover err. is there anyway i can just bypass that so i dont have to close cover?
im currently using manoukian water based inks is there a better ink with higher pigment and not as thick so it will flow better through the compression dampers and the head?
just one is dropping out and i just changed the dampers not the valve assembly or the o rings im using bulk ink and the whole machine is basically brand new its not even a year old so the print head shouldnt be the problem.
yes im running mimaki ink and i print 24 hours a day so that probly wouldnt hurt to change the dampers anyways. thanks for your suggestion i hope it works
