i would watch your temperature also, whenever I print such a dark flood coat across the whole media width and temp. is too high it kind of bakes the material. Causing it to get kind of wavy.
if i stop it when it starts to feel a little snug then it doesnt seal the laminate to the vinyl properly. After laminating i can take a squeegee to it and it seals it down properly. And thicker mil laminate like lustre laminate won't seal down at all.
I have heard that the ORCA III is like a 600md on steroids, but I have never worked on an ORCA before. At my previous company I worked on a 600MD for over 10 years and it is an amazing laminator. At my new place right now the boss purchased an GFP 563 and it is horrible. We are in the business...
i really want an air pressure, double roller (2 in the front and 2 in the back) type of laminator. The 600MD has been discontinued that is why i am wondering if anybody has a used one they are selling?
I usually just make a profile on 3M180CV3 and use it for a lot of different vinyls. Avery does not make good profiles and especially since the 680 reflective is so subjective you can't really make a good one, in my opinion.

Yes I have and they have a lot of Avery material icc profiles except the Avery 1005.
I have made profiles on 3M180CV3 with these Epson's and everything looks beautiful. And if I use a 3M180CV3 profile on the Avery material the outcome is beautiful. But once I start making a profile on Avery...
