  1. What does this problem look like to you?

Printing on my CJV30-130 and getting anomalies in my green, yellow and black all of a sudden. Using solid colors directly from flexi, 12 pass unidirectional CMYK....orajet 3651 vinyl I've done a nozzle wash for two hours separated with new fluid each hour....wiper is clean and in good shape...
  2. Question post signs and panels

Thank you everybody this is amazing! I appreciate the help and links! Like I said in my op I know that wraps can be a money maker but as a single person shop it's not feasible for me. If I could source an installer and just sell the print I would be on board. But I'm going to just pursue the...
  3. Question post signs and panels

Hey again, does anybody know of some good articles regarding post and panel signs? I've literally only done a couple small panel signs and no post signs but I've been getting requests night and day for them. I don't know much about that area and I want to double down and start doing them since I...

Btt Motors, cutting head, stand, pinch rollers and basket still available
  5. Opinion Laminating cut Vinyl lettering?

I absolutely agree it sounds silly which is why I posted it... Just seems goofy. The specialty films I would do as well, especially chrome and gold. They scratch really easy. I'm trying really hard to find where I saw this. I can't seem to turn it up thought. Most likely stumbled across some...
  6. Opinion Laminating cut Vinyl lettering?

I'm trying to remember where I read this.... It may have been a thread on here but I want to say it was an article in sign craft magazine. It was discussing the lamination of cut lettering and graphics. Not printed mind you, just a sheet of vinyl that they laminated and then cut what they...
  7. Pre-mask recomendations for oracal 651

Oh you bet it will. I can say with certainty though that it is leaning more towards the "too dry" spectrum. But I'm sure in short order knowing Wisconsin when summer comes I'll be looking at 80 percent humidity.... Joy
  8. Pre-mask recomendations for oracal 651

I'm getting some of this to try out
  9. Pre-mask recomendations for oracal 651

Gonna give this a try as well. Buying a smorgasbord of transfer tape and seeing which one is what I'm looking for. Thanks everybody! Lots of great help!
  10. Pre-mask recomendations for oracal 651

That would be just as frustrating but this is the exact opposite. The transfer tape pretty much falls off the 651. I'm surprised that an orocal product won't work within its own brand. I can try to wipe it and see if that helps but I'm just going to toss this stuff I think.
  11. Parting out A Summa S140T

BTT Cut off blade plastic piece at the left end of the machine is sold as well as the touchscreen. Motors cutting head and everything else still available.
  12. Pre-mask recomendations for oracal 651

Ok, great info everybody. A couple votes for RLA, 3M and Transferite. I'm going to roder a roll of each and see which one I like best. Wouldn't mind keeping a couple different ones on hand either. Bob, I thought the same thing and made sure I had a new blade in. I've got my pressure at 75g and...
  13. Pre-mask recomendations for oracal 651

I have orafol medium tack that was working for a while but all of a sudden on a few new rolls of 651 its not even pulling it off the backing paper. What do you all recommend? Mostly vehicle/trailer lettering with a smattering of wall and window vinyl applications.
  14. Parting out A Summa S140T

BTT Touchscreen has been SOLD Motors, cutting head, stand, basket, pinch rollers, media rollers all available yet.
  15. Tailgate trim

I suppose as long as it conforms to the shape of the indent nobody would probably notice much when standing 5 feet or farther back. Especially if the design is busy enough.
  16. Tailgate trim

Same thing I would do. I just wasn't sure if that's something that was being done in the industry. But like I said my first reaction was to pull that stuff off. Hopefully the tailgate is smooth undernieth.
  17. Tailgate trim

This was my thought. I always thought less is better. Especially if it's a fast moving billboard. Thanks for the tip!
  18. Tailgate trim

I haven't gotten around to making a Facebook or insta yet but I think I need to soon. My thing is should I do a phone number, website, or social media? Which one is most memorable and easy to see? I like the window perf idea. I want to get some practice with that too.
  19. Tailgate trim

OK thank OK, thank you, that's what I was afraid of. I'm not currently doing wraps but large printed contour graphics and lettering. I wanted to do a partial wrap on my pickup for advertisement purposes and the tailgate is not smooth and has all kinds of lines in it.... No badging though which...
  20. Parting out A Summa S140T

Just like the title says, parting out an s140t that is in overall very good shape. I was cutting vinyl with it two days ago and the PCB board blew out so that is off the table. All other parts are fine. Motors, head, stand, basket, cutter frame, ect. Price negotiated through PM. Pictures coming...
