I'm having an issue with a ValueJet 1304W, does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Grit roller/feed bar thing, maybe? The pinch rollers are clean. I thought the take-up system might be causing it, but I've tried many different adjustments with the same result. On the right side...

Sounds like the part where you enter the serial number of the printer in the printer's menu, not through the wizard.

I just bought a new head and new cables, but the cables they sent are a good 5-6 inches longer than the original ones! Does anyone know if these are okay to use anyway, and if so, where to put the extra slack? Thanks in advance!

Longstore will empty the ink lines and run the cleaning fluid through. Just follow the instructions once you initiate longstore.

Does the head cable really make a big difference? I always figured ribbon cable is ribbon cable.. :\

Hey I'm also from the PNW, and right around now during season changes we always run into issues like this. Do you have a dehumidifier nearby? I've found that keeping the humidity around 40-60% can really help.
