The first time it was when printing on Avery 1900 vinyl using rasterlink with the correct profile for that material. Wasted 10 metres of print.

I'm trying to print a large area of solid colour (a light pink) and I'm getting lines on the print from the pinch rollers. (JV33) What's the likely cause of this?
It's usually a RIP problem, i.e we have Shiraz/JV33 which has had those streaky problems with gradients whereas Rasterlink will print the same file perfectly.
Gypsy has posted the technique used on some of these wraps. The other is to wrap the car in a matt film first and apply on top, although I suspect this is something to do with protecting the paint from the cutting you are going to have to do on the bits that you have to join....and Farhat, you...
I've had to remove this virus several times aswell. I am frankly staggered that all the highly rated AV programs let this thing through.

Apparently there is no need for drying time at all with these machines. Straight off the printer and onto the laminator.
There is another carbon fibre material made by the Italian company APA, cast and available in 1520mm. We used it on a 5 series BMW roof and it was pretty good. Not sure how much it would be to ship to the US.
