I done a few signs for a political candidate for $40 each. Their asking if we can do them for $35 each and they want to order like 20 more.
I don't want to budge off of $40 but the guy is basically begging me to do it.
We digital print them with a picture, etc on them. Is $35 too cheap?
Thanks.
And I could kick myself for not getting one sooner! I bought the 50" one and already two 4x4 signs and am doing 20 yard signs with it right now.
What use to take 20-30 minutes to do a 4x4 sign along with rapid tach and two people doing it (one holding vinyl up other squeegeeing) has turned into...
Check was in my hands as of yesterday. They want 10 4x4 signs by Friday. They asked if we could do their order first before anyone else :banghead: Another long week...
Thanks for the responses. The guy has actually rung the phone off the hook and sent several messages on facebook to us requesting we start without 50% down because they own a mall, sawmills, etc and are devout christians that we can trust. I still told them 50% down before starting.
I actually...
Does anyone have a artwork approval contract they would not mind sharing? We have a customer that is being very particular about the art work. We have changed it 10+ times and he finally said he agrees to it but does not want to pay 50% down. I told him 50% down or my machine won't print them...
Yes, we used the take up system.
The vaccum power was on high.
We pulled slack off the banner material, the machine never pulled it from the roll itself.
We also used all pinch rollers to hold the material.
Printed a 40' banner today. Pulled a bunch out straight and left alot of slack and kept pulling slack so that it woulden't pull and wrinkle the material. The machine got to the last 15 or so feet of the banner and began pulling it to the right, 5ft later it pulled out from under the wheel and...
I've always used stahls quickprint from imprintables warehouse. It's suppose to last 50+ washes and it's very easy to work with. It's like $330 for a 22 yard roll of 30"
I'm looking to find a new supplier of something similar to quickprint. I tried the roland heatsoft and hated it because it...
Does anyone know how to make these signs? Local competitor is making them for $30 a piece. I don't see how they can do it this cheap. We have people wanting them but don't know how to cut them out in the shape. Can you use a band saw and cut coroplast or something?
We done a trailer before that was bigger and only charged $450, it was chrome and black lettering, both sides of the trailer, front and back as well.
We have a customer wanting a 6x12 trailer done. Both sides will have a picture of his sons racing cart, and some lettering. The front will have...
I sometimes give discounts to churchs but i swear some push it.
A guy calls and asks for a price on a 6x2 banner full color etc. I tell him a price + tax. He asks if we can go lower since its a church. I tell him no. He asks if we can do it for a flat price which is $3 more than my price...
Had Stephen jackson just give me a call. He recommends prerolling like we've been doing plus use as many rollers as possible. I'll update to let you guys know how it goes when we print the job shortly!
We just ordered the reel pro yesterday and won't have it in until tomorrow.
The problem is when printing and the machine is pulling the material from the roll, it barely crinkles up on the end. This causes the material to wave and the print head to streak across, and sometimes do a head crash...
