Windows 7 is coming out soon and all the reviews look very good. Hope my signlab works on it, I'm thinking of building a new computer and windows 7 is going on it.
I only cut vinyl. A guy I know here local said his flexi did not print that great on his roland printer. He said he uses adobe illustrator and his prints turn out great. Again I know nothing about printing that's just what he told me.
I never liked the idea of a plotter or printer pulling the weight of roll material. I always unroll the material needed and let it drupe across the floor. Floor is always mopped, and keep clean of dirt & dust.
According to my Ioline trouble shooting section in the manual the language is not setup correctly. If Flexi has the drivers for HP select the HPGL or HPGL standard absolute driver if no Ioline drivers are there, It's works on my classic. Here's the language the classic works with. HP-7475...
Summa's are SWEET. Had my Ioline 10 years and it's never been in for a single repair.I have the buy a new plotter fever bug, but figure I should wait for my Ioline to break. Heck that may be another 10 years...8\

I'm gonna try the CleanCut blades and see if I can crank the speed back up...8)

My Ioline 24" has 400G downforce. It would probably do what you need.Summa has 500G downforce I think. Both excellent plotters and expensive....8( But then again you don't have to do a whole lot of signs to pay for a $3000 to $6000 plotter...8)
I have had my Ioline 24" for 10 years and not a single problem. That Smart Trac Ioline has a floating head that has been tested to 300,000,000 cycles, wich means cutting everyday should last 20 years! The price sounds good for a 3 y.o. Ioline and if it looks clean and works good jump on it!That...
