Signlab V8 here too but only the vinyl version. From what I understand the main improvements were in the print and cut although Gimp integration is also in the vinyl version - overall very good and the upgrade price here in the UK was reasonable. Alan D

It was my understanding that VBA was to be included with the accademic version, usuallt though you cannot upgrade from it and it should not be used for commercial use only those in full time education. I will try and check the VBA issue. Alan D

VBA is included with the accademic version of X4 (although not with previous versions) , no books though and generally you can't upgrade from those versions.

Moving an object and pressing the space bar will leave duplicates, any chance the spacebar is sticking? or if no luck with that, save your workspace if customised, close Corel and restart Corel with F8 pressed, accept the factory defaults and see if that cures. If yes the workspace got corrupted...

Regarding marquee selection. If you are in node editing mode hold down the the alt key and you can drag around awkwardly placed nodes. In any other mode the alt key will select any object it touches. Alan D
