  8. Direct to Garment on Flatbed

I agree with Rick. It will work depending on the machine. I tried it on our Zund 215+ flatbed before it was demolished and it worked great. The downfall was the colors weren't as vibrant as screen printing but it did hold up

  13. UV print on Aurora Textiles Act II

The Act II/FR (fire rated) worked great on our Flatbed. I also tried it on our Mimaki JV3. To my surprise, it printed awesome because it was only spec'd for UV or DyeSub. A little faded but I think it's because it is similar to polyoxford, which also has a faded print outcome. If anyone...
  14. UV print on Aurora Textiles Act II

Since we are going "green", I've found a lot of media to print on. I just received Act II from Aurora Textiles. If you do not know what this is, it's a 100% recycled fabric/banner made from plastic bottles. I'm going to try it on our UV flatbed. If anyone else has tried this material, let me...

  17. Color matching?

Another downfall on Pantone chart swatch books is there will never be a book specifically design for digital printing. There are too many variances in digital printing. Some can replace spot colors in there RIP software which is good but sometimes the colors do not match exactly to the PMS...

  20. Solivent or UV for a Flatbed?

For UV? Inca with sericol inks. Great combination!! Sericol makes two types of inks for the Incas. We use UviJet EI which works grrrreat(lol). They also make a more flexible ink for the Incas. I've heard it's really good and not as brittle.
