I've jammed up our XC 540 pretty bad a few times but I've never had any troubles like this. I've only had to recalibrate the printer and it was back to normal. Do you use media clips? Banner material for us can be a pain.....hope you get it fixed!!

Thanks for the replies, I wasn't cleaning it with any alcohol....I would just wipe it down and the tape away. I'll try applying more pressure as well. Thanks again!!

We've tried a few different companies in such for the right banner tape and the end result is always the same = FAIL! I've seen some youtube videos and people say that banner tape is just as strong or stronger than hemming the banners.....not sure whats going on with the stuff that we got! Any...
