Hey, I was wondering what the best method is for removing a decent amount of vinyl off a banner.
It is a huge banner so it is more cost effective to remove and replace rather than purchase a whole new banner.
It comes off fairly easily with heat, but it is the residue (adhesive) it leaves...
Thanks...
I am making 7 of these for all different times of the year (different events)
The same sponsors will be switching between what event they want to sponsor.
I like the velcro for ease, but 15' for $30 and I would probably need two per banner (double sided).
I agree about problems with...
Hello, I am making a banner 4x20 double sided that will be hanging accross a street.
The customer needs a sponsor on each side about 35x35.
I was going to use velcro and just make a 35x35 seperat banner and attach that, but way too expensive.
My other thought was a clear pocket that I can slide...
I'll be honest I never coated a banner...would someone mind explaing it.
Is it something you spray or rub on...man I hope that didn't sound as dumb as I think it did.
I have a sample bottle of Clear Shield UV protection, but no directions how to apply.
I am using a Versacamm 540V.
I have been having this debate that we should be using Standard and not High Speed for everyday banner jobs (3x9 mostly).
I have to admit, side by side, not a big difference...time wise double though.
Will something printed in Standard last longer in the sun due to...
I used to have a huge poster that showed every color and had the name under it.
I forgot how I did this, any help?
I need to print another.
Thanks!
I usually use corel but can use Ai too.
I just moved this from one room to the other.
I did not drain lines or anything.
I manually cleaned, I auto cleaned all it does is print very VERY faint black.
Any suggestions?
THANKS!
Well, just when I though tI had it figured out.
Anyway, I am narrowing it down between the
Hand Router/Table
and
Scroll Saw
If we leave price out of it for these 2
what is the best for cutting
PVC
50 of the same semi detailed pattern starting w/ a 15x15 pc
Cutting it into a football helmet...
Ok, maybe telling you my budget was a good idea.
Under $500 or really $300 if possible.
This is something I am trying out, but even trying out I know I want something like the Scroll Saw, in other words not a hand saw.
I think I really like the scroll saw.
Will it cut sintra, PVC , and gator...
Wow, that's awesome, and a pic too, thanks so much!
Do they make a counter top version, lol....let me guess they do it's called a .....(tell me, I really don't know, lol)
Bob, "not much experience" I think was pretty clear, haha.
Definitely not a cheapskate, I want what is right and a long term good solution.
Here is an example of what I want to cut...
A lot of what I do will be in the range of 15x15 and 5 different shapes that I always will use over and over...
Hi I just got a good deal on some PVC sheets about 18x24 and I want to contour cut them into specific shapes.
What tool could I use, I do not want to do this with a hand saw, I want something electric I can guide it through.
Want to cut Gatorfoam, Cintra, PVC etc...
Would a dremel be the way to...
I need about 100 football or/and cheerleading magnets.
Anybody have someone they have used and can recommend?
I have googled my brains out but there is nothing like a referral.
Thanks,
Tony
