    Not in NY but California Media Services helped me out big time a few years ago I worked at a sign shop with a Colorspan 72uvr. The guy who owns the place is very helpful and gave me detailed instructions on how to fix several problems. Hope this helps.

    We use "slugs" that we put in the corner of each proof. I contains our company name/logo and job info such as quantities and material type. At the bottom of this info we have a disclaimer putting the responsibility on the customer. I also use a disclaimer in my email sig.
