Thanks for letting me know. So I guess the software developers have this already covered to not share licences outside the registered computer. Very clever and wise really. I will have to find a couple of odd jobs to pay for a full licence of XPT. I have the LTR version, so I can cut without any...
I know what you mean ikarasu. I did actually download the trial version of Vinylmaster and tried the XPT version, but as they are trial versions they don't allow you to print and cut, so their trials are pretty useless.
What I should have said, you can become a member and subscribe up to 4 computers or 4 licences:
VinylMaster XPT | VinylMaster Club
The first 36 month option only.
I'm not doing this for business, which is why I created this post. I know what you mean, if I was doing a business, then it is a no...
Hi,
I know I'm being cheeky here, but I'm tight on money at the moment. Does anyone own Vinylmaster XPT and have a spare licence I could buy off them. I hear you get 4 licences with it. I have the LTR version for one month trial and I love it, however I can't print from it. It does some...
Thanks, someone else already sent me a copy of this service manual.
It doesn't show how to remove/replace the ink tubings though, which is what I want to achieve.
I installed inkscape once, but couldn't understand it as it was in source code, so I left it at that. I have a copy of the original Color Choice software, but it is corrupt and I bought the printer off someone else, so I am hoping someone has a copy to give away. I don't know how else to get it...
I have a Roland SC-500 printer/cutter (I know it's old, but a durable machine) and I am really struggling to get cheap print/cut software for this printer. I'm not prepared to spend a lot or have a huge budget to spend £2K on these software as I am poor :) I wish I didn't get this printer now...
Wow, VanderJ you are so knowledgeable. Thank you very much for this information, it has helped me out a lot and I feel confident to buy the DX2 printheads for my printer. Some people/companies take the mick and charge around £400-£800 each and they are refurbished. Alibaba tend to sell a lot and...
Thanks nickgreyink,
I suspected it was DX2, it's just that somebody else said DX3 and confused me. Is there a huge difference between DX2 & DX3 if you know?
I also looked at Alibaba before I created this thread, but I just don't trust buying from them, even though the printheads compared to...
Hi,
I have a Roland SC-500 printer and wanted to know what printhead type I have, for example, is it a DX2, DX3, DX4, etc. I'm getting mixed messages that it might be DX2 or DX3, but I need to know 100% for sure. My documentation does not tell me anything and I don't want to rip it out of the...
Hi,
Does anyone have a pdf copy of the Roland SC-500 Service Notes/Service Manual?
This is not the same as the User Manual, which I already have. I want to know how to change the tubing to the printhead, plus other things.
Thanks,
antonitus
