Im peeling both parts. The white line are the "fibers" of the phototex, we will now try with new set of blades (olfa) and see how it goes.

Yeah, we are printing wallpapers, the one in the pictures is a "mini wallpaper" printed for the overlap cut test and take the pictures.

We are having some issues with the cut of the overlap with phototex. I dont know if its because we are new to the material and theres a trick to do it different from other substrates, but everytime we do the cut, a white stripe is left. The blade is new, the pressure is right... dont know whats...

I have a client who wants to buy a couple of phototex rolls from us, the thing is that we print on a HP Latex, and he will be printing on a roland sp540i (ecosolvent) and our rolls are water base. Can it be printed on a eco solvent?

The thing is I´m in Chile, so here the people who sells vinyls dont have too much variety in brands or models. The thing I´m trying to see is if the DPF 8000 will screw up my printer or if its gonna be a real "pain in the neck".

Thanks for the replies guys. About the mess DPF 8000 does to the printer... how bad is it? like... go buy a new printer bad? one day cleaning the printer bad? replacing parts that die during printing the vinyl bad? or is it just something you can clean with some alcohol on a cloth?

Has anyone have any succes printing Arlon DPF 8000 on the L260? What profile do you use? Generic selfadhesive? Did the DPF 8000 left some glue on the printer? Is a pain in the a... neck to print this vinyl?
