  1. BEWARE of South Water Signs

Just saw this in a Signs of the Times email: https://signsofthetimes.com/south-water-signs-assets-to-be-sold-in-aug-14-16-online-auction/?utm_source=omeda&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Newsletter&utm_term=&utm_content=ST+NEWSLETTER&oly_enc_id=4347B6987023C9X
  2. optically clear laminate

we don't handle the plastic liner laminates any differently from paper liner laminates. Have no trouble at all. In fact, we find it easier to cut the laminate and not cut the liner with them.
  3. Whats your experience with the Epson S80600 Printers?

I've had an S80600 for about 10 months after more than 10 years of service from an S70670 I had a Mimaki JV3 before that. Hands down the S80600 is by far the best I've had. I note one word in your post that may account for the problems you've had: seasonal. Though it seems the S80600 is better...
  4. Bypass Onyx profiles and use Epson printer settings

If you have the profile in the Epson Edge Dashboard, then you should be able to also see it in Onyx by having it automatically update media.
  5. Question Shop humidity for Eco Solve printers

Paper does change with humidity, and waviness is one of the things you see with more humidity. Your printer really should be operating in an indoor room temperature environment, which means an air conditioned and heated room. The vinyl also needs to be stored in such a climate controlled room.

  7. Subscription Mouse!

What exactly would you be getting with the lifetime subscription to software updates? Maybe this has to do with gaming where the mouse buttons and wheels can be mapped to different game functions? Although the article mentions the mouse possibly having user-repairability or user replaceable...
  8. Need Help Abrasion, or is this vinyl failing? (3M 180/8519 on a boat)

Not vinyl failure. Definitely damage from rubbing/being hit by something.
  9. Perpetually Connected Devices...

Oh, they got more than an apology. Crowdstrike offered affected users a $10 Uber Eats gift card...
  10. Need Help Extreme conditions, need help from the experts on this forum

If there are anchor points to abseil (rappel) from the roof, then your painter could use a stage and falls or even a rig like window washers use with a large, stable platform. They also make portable rigs to hang the platform from.
  11. Ugh! New Brand Guide (RANT)

The dark green is probably considered a historic color. I saw that in Sedona MCDonald's did the arches teal color on a reddish brown background to match the landscape.
  12. Ugh! New Brand Guide (RANT)

Currently the courts are split on the issue of forcing changes to sign colors. Bobby is referencing a 9th Circuit ruling in the Blockbuster case. However two courts, including an appeals court, have upheld municipalities' right to restrict sign color in the 2nd Circuit. The Supreme Court has yet...
  13. Perpetually Connected Devices...

The problem is that airlines, etc. want to use the same systems worldwide. Microsoft could make Windows handle this stuff outside the kernel, just like the other OS, but since they have products that are allowed to work inside the kernel, the EU agreement requires them to allow third parties do...
  14. Perpetually Connected Devices...

Access to the kernel is indeed what allowed the Crowdstrike mistake to crash everyone's computers. But the safer alternative is essentially outlawed by the agreement the EU forced on Microsoft. The real problem is that they didn't even test the update on one Windows computer to make sure it...
  15. Ugh! New Brand Guide (RANT)

If this non-profit museum is only in this city, I think it's simple. You kick it back to whomever is in the art department and tell them their new brand guidelines cannot be used in the city because you cannot get a permit for a sign with these colors, and provide them a list of the...
  16. Bike fonts

To find vector files of logos, rather than just fonts (many logos are not actual fonts but are custom-created), try brandsoftheworld.com . I checked for Specialized, Schwinn, Diamondback, Trek, and Motobecane and found all of them in multiple versions, current and older.
  17. Bike fonts

Does anyone have ingredients for recipes? Anything is helpful. Perhaps you should try this great tool called Google Search. But if you have a specific question to ask it might help to provide those specific details here. Are you talking about bicycle manufacturer logos? Model Numbers? Or are...
  18. help needed with this heat (weather)

Peel the paper off rather than peeling the lettering off. It's possible you cut too hard into the paper. That will also make it stick and be hard to get loose.
  19. Font ID?

If I told you I'd have to kill you. LOL.
