I’ve had success with printing fast . Single pass, lowest resolution. If materials sit on the heaters too long it will begins to wrinkle. Use if a perf with a poly liner helps this too .
Used to love the calls 430 on a Friday asking for a bunch of signs for Saturday morning, and they have their artwork in a PowerPoint.
AND then everything is my fault cause they dropped the ball. lol people
I start my emails with Good day, is that why you never respond ? ( sorry bad joke )
I just got that same email but with different contact name, blah blah ..
Agree with signboi, turn down heat, up vacuum and I’ll add that too many people run / print perf on too high of resolution. Turn down the resolution, print Single pass NOT a double pass and turn down your heat.
Can you find out what paint they used. I had this happen at a church and nothing we did stuck. We finally ended up doing a die -sub fabric i
Stretched in a frame
It’s SO tough when you are excited and wanting to do a job BUT if the money isn’t right and you’re not making enough money to make it worth your time you might have to pass. My rule is that I’m not working my butt off to make hardly any profit. I’d rather spend time with family than barely break...
Being price conscious is definitely something you do look at, but don’t forget to consider the most expensive part of your project, which is the labor. just because material is in expensive and saves you money on the front end it could end up costing you more on the labor because material...
Based on what you’re saying just use 3M 40c , someone said it has the same adhesive and YES it does have same adhesive. There are alternatives too. Could use arlon 4600, 4500 or Avery 2923ez or Orafol 3651ra
Call the manufacturers support lines they will hook you up with a distributor close to you
Have you reached out to GF ? Talked to your GF rep ? I can help you find the right person to speak with, as for another optically clear film that is removable that’s a tough one. You might have all the same issues because to get an optical clear film like this it Hass to be on a poly liner...
There are videos on Arlon wrapitright.com that show how to do deep channel installs . No matter which materials you chose doing the deep channels correctly is the key. There are 3 different ways to do those channels and each one will give a different completed look.
5 yards samples are available from 3M . They do have a page on the graphics site for samples. Since 2020 samples, color books or color bricks are not easy to get. The 3M 2080 color change , Avery Sw900, Orafol 970ra bricks have just become available again but in limited quantities ans yes they...
This project probably handled by an agency that is out of state and they are pinching Pennies. This is what happens when things are done cheap and fast
Yeah unfortunately None of the manufacturers cover ink , time …etc… if they do it’s extremely rare. They all have it buried in the fine print. Thankfully you’re able to send samples of the defective material and get replacements. Our shop keeps records of materials used, lot numbers and the...
The liner is the issue. The embossing that gives the air regress in the adhesive is very shallow. That why it feels more sticky. I know it sounds lame when you’re reading this but I swear that is the issue . The new ij280 shouldn’t have any of the issues like we see in cv3 and MC. Personally I...
