Rarely hear about 3M delaminating issue. Heard it happening to Avery 1360 users LOTS. The laminates do not like to stick to the HP optimizer

Um….. 3M , ask your 3M rep if you don’t believe me. I’m not saying you can’t use it. Put side by side with a true optical clear film and see for yourself.

Yes 1360z does but so does GF242, 3m 8914 etc. all the cast lams have a tint because of the UV inhibitors in the films.

Avery 1360z is least expensive optical clear cast laminate. I’m sorry 3M does notconsider 8518 optically clear. Data bulletin states it can be used on windows but that’s it. Whomever told you that ? Grimco ?

You should never use a calendar laminate on a cast media . The shrink rate of the 210 can pull the ij180 and cause a failure . 210 for wall wraps Is horrible cause it has one of the highest shrink rates of all the calendar laminate.

Get with your vendor and regional 3M rep .

I would look at your profiles, make sure you’re not over saturating your prints. Make sure you’re allowing those prints to outgas for at least overnight. The combo of over saturating a print and not allowing it to cure can cause this very issue.

Number 1 reason is that you are over saturating your prints. Reduce the amount of inks you’re laying down. Recommend using the manufacture profiles for that media you are printing on. Get or make a dryer for your printed projects and dry them overnight if possible. Small stuff lay out on a...

Being curious and reading through. One thing caught my eye was the deliberate spacing and poor grammar of the person who started the thread. My 2-cents now I better get back to work
