What seems to be peoples opinion on what translucent material to use ......we were using Orajet 3850 for the past year and now starting to have issues with it peeling Any info would be great

I printed a banner almost two years ago for an oil company with the 370 and it still looks really good And even the banner it self is in Great shape

Sorry to hear that..... I been running my 570 since September over 500,000 sq foot runs non stop Only heads and maintenance cartridge have been replaced (knock on wood) and on the leader edge I run it just over the platten and past the bump and leave the door open till it passes through...

I have a Cg fx 160 I may sell we use Summa'sdue to the latex Bow

i love my latex 570 and have been using it since sept and for the first time i had a brand new roll of banner printing like crap so i tried the roller and it helped but did not fix the issue the image was 50'' x 10' and the counter on the roller was saying it printed 597 inches in length...so...

we used one roll to wrap a car and it printed fine and laminated fine but a week later brown spots started to appear all over the car WILL NEVER USE IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was only me ....... I was always wondering the same thing why this happens drives me nuts

its definitely not a profile issue !!!!!!! 3M is aware of the material getting random spots It is definitely a material flaw whether it was a bad batch or something

split, we are having problems when installing we are getting white stretch marks with it stretching less than 5% we're getting brown spots in the material we are running three HP 370s and one 570 and it doesn't matter what machine we run it through we're getting the same results I sent 3M...

With latex it prints well ..but we have had nothing but problems with the material it's self.......went back to ij180

On the 370's i don't get that at all even at 4 pass (we build all of our own profiles with the on board i1 and a spectro swing and do constant head alignments) the hp 570 does print faster and better ..... knowledge is power when it comers to guilty output from any printer!

Well I have printed around 32 rolls of media so far with the 570 and only one problem so far........ You can no longer build a profile for back lit media like 360 or 370 can! thank god I could snag one from one of the 370's Also did some banners using 2,3 and 4 pass printed better then I...

I don't know what to tell you we were on a conference call as we were doing prints simultaneously I finished before he did!!!!! and his customer liked the print from latex better than solvent both prints unlaminated. we're getting ready to do some testing with the 570 so we'll see how that...

I personally don't know a lot about the new Roland printers ( I did own one a few years ago and really disliked it) I do have 2 customers with the EJ 640 and they have me doing their printing for certain jobs! them running at high-speed is slower then the HP 370 at 10past hp has better quality...
