Yes I have had this problem printing from versa and flexi puling in native files I have not created jpg eps and tiff files. i get the same results.i am wondering if maby the mother board or print head board might have gone bad or blown a fuse??

no flat spots feed calibration wouldnt be an isue because it happens about three to five feet into the print goes away after quick cleaning and comes back after about five feet or so.but thanks for the ideas any others would be welcomed. Ben

how are you saving the files don't compress the files before you print them it might be the compression that is causing it.

It all depends on wich pro III you get the 540 comes with versaworks rip and no u dont need flexi or any other software to run it just save file as EPS and open it with versaworks.I dont know about the other roland printers. as long as u have xp versaworks will work the only xp versaworks will...
