    I agree with Cadmn, the 3x wipe & 3x write is a Government standard on HDD cleaning. Norton Utilities had it on earlier versions, I don't if it still has it. Alphonse43

    Just make another folder and copy the files you need to burn to that location, and burn them from there. I think you'll find you can't delete because there's some other program in the background using those files. Alphonse43

  7. Having Trouble with External Hard Drive

    I've had 5 or 6 drive enclosures over the years and found most of the problems come from the encloser itself or the USB connection. I now use a R-Driver USB 2.0 to IDE Cable, these also come with a Sata connection now. I have never had a connection problem since changing a few years back...
