If you are out there ratmotorsport, I first started by scraping out paint cans, sweeping the floor and making tea. My Grandfather would ask me If I had any brush experience...I would say "Yup just finished that part of the floor". You have to earn your wings!
If a customer askes about bubbles just act surprised and say "gee we usually cherge extra for those" and start to count them. Funny how they are not so worried about them after that.
We do about 95% vinly and 5% paint (my dad is still here 6 days a week) 70 years young this year and he keeps the painting alive around here,55 years of hand painting under his belt so its hard to give it up.
