We had same problem with our UJF with LUS120 inks in bottles. Tech change something like damper inside under the bottle. Error disapears.

I think that UV print always will have silvering after laminate. Also glue doesn't stick very well on top of UV inks.

I will try to explain. Just you need to disasemble right side of the printer where display and heater control seats. Then disconect controler and disasemble to see one small onton relay on one edge of electronic board. It is not too difficult,just you need some little experience with soldering iron.

Why you didn't change relay on your old heater controler? It is very easy and relay is cents in electronic stores.

Our customers say that our old Roland prints better than new JV300. Also two weeks ago one head stop printing one chanel of magenta so we used only one. We are surprised how better is resolution on small text. I think that this is aligment based problem. About JV5, I never saw first models...

Personaly I don't like DX5/DX7 heads. Only advantage is speed on two head based machines. If you have one dead color on DX4 machine, you spent about 500 euro for repair. If you have same on DX7 machine, repair cost much more. Also, aligment of two DX7 heads is nearly impossible. This is based on...

Hi, we found very high ink consumption with our UCJV300. We have 3 other UV printers and there we have 7-8 ml/sq.m overal. With UCJV we have 16-18 ml/sq.m.!

There is two positions for roller tension. You can put it up and down. Just look in the back of ploter. All rolers must be set in same tension position.
