Hi guys, looking for a part.. The two spring loaded clips that hold the carriage on, well I have one broken. Anybody have a suggestion of where I can find this part?

I think I will replace the head.. but I do need to mention that I have three print heads. Two like new that they changed when the machine was under warranty and the ms was bad.. but they began to band, So should I try to do anything with these two? Can they be recycled or sold?

here goes... The machine is about 3 years old. I have had the head replaced 3x when it was new. The 3rd time they replaced the ms. That fixed it all. After that some time later about 6 months... after i was out of warranty my black began to band little by little it got worse.. now it is...

thanks Fat Cat for the reply.. when you say unhooked the dampers and used a syringe and line to gently push solvent through the head? (There are other methods if you search the Mutoh forum....) I did not do this. I'm not completely sure how to perform this.. Should I just unhook the black...

Any one have any luck with a recovery service that claims they can recover print heads? My Value Jet's black is banding and i need to do something soon. Not looking to spend $$$$ on a new one... any suggestions would be welcomed. I have tried everything to help recover the nozzels but no luck.

I have the same issue on my black banding. I have to print at a high quality and change the rendering... has anyone used a recovery company? There are some on the internet that claim to be able to recover the head.

Having issues when I print red. Gives an orange tint.. SW advised to always print with no color correction. I have to change the rendering to relative color.. or increase to 1440x1440 to get a nice red. Any suggestions? Mutoh VJ, Flex 8.x
