when i owned a retail direc tv office i would always push "non pen roof mounts" their great..they were just a metal frame made of 1"x1" angle iron..the base was designed so that you could put 8 concrete blocks on it...and it would hold the big high def satellite dish(bout 50lbs) and it catches...

I have told the customer about the permits, and have installed signs after telling them i an not responsible for permits/approvals if they want me to get them i charge for the permit and labor to get them..but the permit is useless pretty much, nothing is ever done.. all signs within the city...

i had a issue with permits awhile back, the state was saying i needed them, and everyone i talked to said the same thing, when i went to the courthouse..they said" wow, im surprised you came in..we havent issued a permit in over 4 months..most people dont even get a permit to build a new house"...

just everything in general---and my main question is where to find out about all of these shows, i have had people in the trade tell me that my supplier should tell me of all the shows etc coming up..but they dont know of any... just curious to where everyone else finds the info

in my local hometown they do not require you to have any license, installer...not even electrician..they do have permits which are cheap..like $30 and all their for around here is to say"yes you can update your sign" or "no, we think its fine the way it is..look at your neighbor's"

where does everyone find this info...maybe i should look for a new supplier sooner?? lol... i dont like the guy i deal with anyways :P
