Heres mine I did. When I pull up guidelines I grab the logos and grab the colors look at a few dos and donts picture and thats about it. Those other 40 pages of garble I dont bother with. I do the layout for the agent and he submits and it got approved. If any changes are to be made I make them
We all know used car lots aint gonna spend money, nonetheless, I would do some .040 aluminum coverup and reverse the company name on it so it stands out. In a perfect world they would redo the whole building and make it look nice but you didnt indicated thats what they were doing. I doubt very...
Ive covered quite a few of those up over the years I usually use .032 or .040 aluminum (acm would also be fine) when you finish the panels you can lay it horizontally and silicone all letter to it Easy! I always just silicone my panels onto the structure using Gorilla tape or a couple screws...
an adhesive has to be "soft" and flexible, it gives with the climates. A construction adhesive such as Liquid nails does not work just as notarealsignguy mentioned.
I will take their logo and I will compliment it with fonts I think work best. Most times than not it works and they accept, sometimes they will request different. if they suggest a crappy font I try and educate them on being professional and what would be most legible for their needs.
Repoed one monday last week, it was a lexan face that was cleaned off and relettered and reinstalled. Customer went silent for approx 2 months. MIRACULOUSLY after taking sign down at 6am he texted and called at 9am, I posted the repo on facebook and called him out. After payment was made, I put...
My PC has been great for graphics. Dell XPS i7. No slowdowns no chocks (of course the exception is when I get a 2 gb layout from an ad agency that tries to kill illustrator) thats another story. Other than that PC for me
yes you can. Ive had great luck with priming the rear of PVC and placing dots of silicone on rear of PVC and laying them on the wood. Try your best to scuff the wood where the pvc will lay. IMO laying dots of silicone is better than running stripes, if you will. BTW nice clean sign
If I do a sign in a small neighboring town I am not going thru the hell of getting a license and a permit for that 1 job. Have I been busted, yes. All they did was make me go get license and permit after I played stupid and acted like the store owner was supposed to handle that. Its all about...
I guarantee you its the updates that have bogged down the computer. I would run avira av, ccleaner and mbam. I would definitely put another hard drive in and keep all info on this 2nd one. I have always reformatted wiped everything clean and redid it after of course backing all stuff up
repo the sign. I just did one monday morning at 6am. Customer was no responsive for 2 months, Ill be damned if my textx and phone calls werent going off 3 hours later....amazing isnt it! Im all about repo. people are going to argue on here "its against the law"..."I could be arrested" To each...
llumar is good and there is a new ceramic tint out called rayno. Ive a got a great tint guy. I did order my own precut tinit several years ago and put it on my bucket trucks, it turned out ok but I can see where tinting takes some skills
have you been updating windows? why can you not format? do you not have the disk? I think a reformat would be best option.
If you do turn off all microsoft devices aka defender and whatever BS they have and cut off updates
