I do agree that we'll probably reach a more matched output using the same RIP system and it's my own stubbornness that has refused to work with VersaWorks solely. I just find that I have way more capabilities to edit and tweak colors to what I need them to be in Flexi, but VersaWorks was what...
I'm gonna have to look into this Onyx RIP system. I've seen mention of it being used quite frequently around this forum and wonder if it has the same abilities as Flexi with the control of VersaWorks. and thank you for the real world review of the profilers! that's what our shop has been looking...
That I can understand. The problem with that is mostly due to my own stubbornness. VersaWorks works great for our UV printer, but it does p*ss all for the solvent. I prefer Flexi in that I can still make edits to the files within the rip software, VW doesn't allow much. But even still, we've...
We use Versaworks Dual for the UV printer and it lists X-1 and GregTagMacbeth as it's accepted instruments. For the solvent printer, we use Flexi and it looks to be the same list. Have you experience with any monitors that include their own calibration/profile package that you could recommend...
As the title suggests, I'm looking for your input on what tools you currently use or have used to color calibrate your computer monitors to your printers and your printers to produce accurate color prints.
Some backstory: We have a Roland XR-640 as well as a Roland LEC-540. We print graphics...
+ 1 for Morph's installation suggestion.
That's the exact method we use over here, but we are typically installing graphics onto premade 47" x 95" wall panels (we do exhibit booths, primarily). So our walls are typically already standing when we go out to install, defeating the option of using...
I use Flexi and VersaWorks for my printers here and I prefer the flexibility with Flexi quite a bit more (no pun intended). We've tried using Rasterlink and it just wasn't user friendly and didn't have half the capabilities as Flexi. I also highly prefer Flexi over VersaWorks for the same reasons.
The Roland DGA videos are super informative with VersaWorks. I would highly recommend checking them out for a lot of good-to-know knowledge.
Here's one to get you started:
I'm not sure if they deliver to you, but you could try contacting someone with Polymershapes. We will often go through them for partial rolls and they're always helpful with providing samples, if you're ever in need or want to try a new product.
Let me put it this way.. If you're doing something you feel strongly about at your job and have no boss, are you going to listen to some random guy on the street saying "Hey! You shouldn't do that cuz it hurts my feelings!" Doubt it.
Just like all these players that choose to take a knee are...
Except the first amendment specifically states "the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, ensuring that there is no prohibition on the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press...

In any case, comparing how many or how often white people are killed by police to how many or how often black people are killed by the police is statistically dubious unless you are considering the population. Based on the...
Okay, that's a huge laugh right there, Bubba - but I'll breeze over the fact that you're blatantly ignoring the majority of the comments specifically stating that this silent protest is "disrespecting the flag," when it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FLAG. So in your words, if those choosing to take...
If the left only reported what "fits their narrative," then there wouldn't be discussions about this silent protest defining it as anything other than what it is.. and judging by this thread, that's definitely not the case considering how many of the commenters have zero knowledge on it and...
Don't be so ignorant. We should all be very much aware of what's happening in the news and every day around us. It's naive to think systemic racial profiling doesn't exist. Just because it doesn't affect your comfy life, doesn't mean it's not affecting hundreds of thousands of other American...
