I am having the exact same problems you describe with my HP Latex 54 cutter. The problems have happened since I first got the cutter and are sporadic. It has happened in both Flexi 12 and Flexi 19 with multiple firmware versions, OPOS cleaning/calibrations, etc. Not only will it go off track and...
For some time now I have had a problem with my HP Latex 54 cutter tracking going off the line sporadically on the Y axis while cutting. I have been unable to find any correlation except that it seems to happen more on larger cuts (over 40" long or so). I will have a single sheet with many...
I am afraid it would be too light and flimsy for that large of a sign and the wind would cause it to buckle. However, if a wood frame was made behind it then that actually is a good idea but I would have to see if it would be worth the time to make a wood frame. Thanks.
The price is high right now for MDO. Not sure if there is a shortage due to political signs or what but that is why I was thinking of using the Coro on OSB option.
We need to make some temporary road-side signage for an event. We are going to print 4ft x 8ft graphics on vinyl using HP Latex and then adhere them to either ACM or Coroplast... Do you all have tips on adhering the ACM or Coro to Plywood or OSB? I wasn't sure if it would be better to use...
I actually talked to HP support and they said that the Latex does not support double strike and just to use the saturation instead. I ran 20 pass with 260% saturation on clear vinyl and it looks pretty good.
The signs I am making are for a nighttime event so they are both temporary and are...
I actually do not need Flexi as I load the Illustrator .AI file directly into production manager and then modify the print profile/options from Production manager. I can increase saturation I just read somewhere on this forum before that it is not the same thing to increase saturation as it is...
I need to adhere it to the Polycarb lens of a light cabinet. The backlit film I have used in the past does not have adhesive and is only made for light boxes with clamps at the edges. So that is why I am using a clear self adhesive vinyl.

I have an HP 315 Latex and cannot figure out how to do double strike printing. I read elsewhere that it is done through Flexi under 'Printer Options' and is called 'Print Count' and 'Time Interval' but it is not there. I am using Flexi 19. I am trying to print on clear self-adhesive vinyl for...
I purchased an HP 315 Print and Cut just over a year ago and received an email today for HP service plan now that the warranty period is over. The cost is MUCH higher than I was told it would be when I bought the unit. I have a couple of questions that I am hoping you all could answer:
1. Would...
I will try calling back and ask about resin code 5 and see if that makes a difference. I tried doing a search and found some sites that said Coroplast is polypro and some saying it is polyethylene do you know which it is?
Matt
None of the recycling companies in my area will take Coroplast scrap so I am curious for those of you who are routing a lot of it how you dispose of it? I have read about Plastic Granulators but they are very $$$ and nothing I have read says how they work with coroplast in waste reduction. Any...
