You should really consider a Latex printer. You don't have to run it like other machines. If you want to have a discussion about how it could benefit you just let me know. I wouldn't even be the one to sell it to you, but I can be the one who shows you why you should consider it no problem...
Using non-adhesive film and laminating with double sided is just like printing perf and laminating it. Doing the flood coat way is expensive to use all that white ink. Using film will act like CAST vinyl as neither will shrink like a standard material.
Lol, solvent is great for certain applications I guess, it's just hard for me to talk good about it anymore now that Latex and UV are out for so long with epic market share.
Solvent all the way!!! You get cool banding lines, you get to do daily and weekly maintenance, you have to wear gloves when handling the inks, you get really cool fumes from solvent too! The heads are only a few thousands dollars when you need to replace them also. Lots of wasted inks with...
Spend the money for the right material which is cast vinyl and you will not have these issues. It appears to be more money upfront I understand that, but in the long run you will save thousands of dollars on re-do's and failed jobs I promise! I do have my kits finally in and they sell for $900...
