sign making is still an art form but we live in a disposable world where nothing matters so i guess most of it is just junk. but there are still just as many sign artists as there used to be, there is just many more hacks then there used to be too.

you don't need a 335, i bought a 315 a few years back, i was leaning towards a 335 but decided a 315 was good enough and it was.

they didn't pay $120,000 for the art, they bought the right to be the one who can show off that they spend $120,000 on it.

i use 91% isopropyl from Sams Club for the 100 and 300 series Latex printers with no issues.

i had same issues with AVG virus protection, this would sporadically cause the same problem

based on simple geometry you made an error in your rotating or you didn't start with a true square. the process you described would produce what you were attempting to make. there must have been an error in one of your steps.

I printed about 25 rolls of GF on my 315 since beginning of Sept with no issues. is there something wrong with your optimizer maybe?

i don't understand the extra 2x6 is for, i don't see that adds anything for aesthetic value. If you know someone with a sawmill just get a 6x8x16 cut

24' of 1/4" edge cap $9.18 tube of silicon $6ish qt of Ronan $18 cut and apply edge cap, 15 minutes sign is done paint MDO 15 minutes plus 24-36 hours before mounting. as far as client telling me 2 years and its up 5-7, i couldn't care if i tried.

Time is money, faster to slap on some edge caps with silicone and call it a day, they will last 2 years...

I never said you cut 7k at once, i said you printed 7k... when making 7k decals I would make a template of what i would reasonably think the cutter could handle and give me the quality i desire, print that template, run it over to the cutter, cut it, see if it worked to my satisfaction and then...

you bought a unit with a cutter that is designed to work with flexi and then you use corel? on top of it you print 7k stickers without test cutting? your blaming the equipment instead of knowing their uses and limitations.
