Hello, I have 3 jf 1631 mimaki flatbed printers and I was wondering if there was a (simple) way to change the currents lamps, over to led lamps. Has anyone tried this or hear of someone doing this? My printers are all 2007 and 2008 units. Thanks for you expert advise. Jay

We currently have 3 and for the most part have been happy. There is a good deal of maintenance that goes with them but that is to be expected. what price range are you in? We may be moving into another printer soon and might let one go for less.

you will need blanks with a polyester coating. I went with the desktop epson because it can be modified to a ciss. Never tried to print 24" but I have printed 12"x18" before. Also, 2 years with no service issues. Good luck. Jqs...sorry for my ignorance but what is a ciss?
